“All these, O king, Araunah has given to the king.”And Araunah said to the king, “May the Lord your God accept you.”
Then the king said to Araunah, “No, but I will surely buy it from you for a price; nor will I offer burnt offerings to the Lord my God with that which costs me nothing.” So David bought the threshing floor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver.” 2 Samuel 24:23-24
Dear Friends,
HELP HELP HELP!
LifeQuest funds are currently at a dangerously low level. And it’s for the greatest reason EVER! We just had a group of 50 youth, parents and volunteers return from hiking the Grand Canyon May4-6. They encountered horrific conditions including high winds, rain, sleet, and snow. Yet they all conquered this daunting hike and learned they could truly “do all things through Christ who gives me strength. And the best part of the trip? Six youth and one parent were baptized in the Colorado River at the bottom of the Canyon! How incredible is that?
At the end of June we fly in three gentlemen from Straight Ahead Ministries out of Boston to do two three day seminars in the juvenile justice facilities in both Albuquerque and Las Cruces. We will see about 60 young men and women over that week and I can promise you lives will be changed. I know that because we see it has happened every year over the last five years we’ve sponsored Ready4Life in the juvenile facilities.
And then in July we will be taking seventeen 4:14 youth, parents, and volunteers to Mexico on a mission trip! We will be serving with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) at their facility there! The joy of serving is a learned art. All of this while we continue our weekly programming each and every week both within the juvenile facilities and within the community. Young lives are being changed and it’s because of your faithful prayers and financial partnership with us.
Would you prayerfully consider a special one time or recurring gift this month? If that’s possible for you please go to the LifeQuest website at www.lifequestusa.org or return a check in the enclosed envelope if you’re receiving this newsletter by mail. Thank you in advance for all you do!
Please call if you have any questions.
