The 4:13 Journey: Courses

Taking youth on a journey of discovery, using the spirit of adventure and the challenge of the great outdoors as a catalyst to help them develop strong character so they can reach their highest potential!


Registration For ABQ Fall 2025 classes is open now. Classes begin the week of Aug 11. 2025. Registration closes on August 23. Please select the class/location you are registering for. (Fall Semester ABQ is meeting at Hoffmantown Church and First Baptist Church in Bernalillo).

The Fall Semester in ABQ will run from August through November 2025. Classes meet in the evenings from 6 to 8 pm. An Orientation is held the first week for parents and students. Once registration is received, further details will be emailed to the parents’ listed email.

Parents, we would like to provide an opportunity for you to participate with your students. Would you be interested in a parent group that meets at the same time and goes over the same study as your students? It gives you an opportunity to discuss the lesson with your student and also provides fellowship with other parents. Please indicate on the Registration form. Thank you!

Classes fill up fast.

‘Adventure-Based Education Program’

  • Teaching 12 strong character qualities
  • Six adventure outings per 12-week class (adventures include a ropes course, rappelling, rock climbing, hiking, and music session camp, and an outing to Glorieta)
  • Semi-annual capstone adventure
    (Next Grand Canyon Hike every Fall 2025; nine-week additional training program for Grand Canyon – Anyone who participated in the Spring/Fall 2024 or Spring 2025 classes can sign up to go on this hike by June 5th 2025 by contacting the office)
  • Co-Ed Middle and High School Classes
    – 12-15 students per class
    – Small groups of 4-5 in each class
    – Small groups also perform community service together
    – Spring and Fall Sessions
