Dear Friends,
I’ve got some good news and bad news and then more good news. The good news is….WE HAVE EXTENDED OUR UNBANQUET THROUGH THE END OF OCTOBER! That means that every gift you give and designate either online or with a check for the UnBanquet will still be matched dollar for dollar!
Now for the bad news. The reason we are extending our UnBanquet through the end of October is that we have not yet matched the full $40,000 that was pledged. We’re not too far off. We only need another $14,445 to reach that goal. We have no doubts that we, with your prayerful support, will make it. And we are so grateful to you for ALL that you have done and will do.
And now the other good news. Or to be more exact, the absolute BEST NEWS! The reason this UnBanquet is so critical for us is that we are doing more ministry and seeing more kids with the possibility of even more expansion than at any time in my ten-plus years at LifeQuest. We currently have 43 young men and women in our Fall 4:13 Journey. That consists of two groups in Albuquerque and one in Las Cruces! And we envision that growing by at least one group and maybe more in our Spring semester next year. Our work in the Juvenile Detention centers is back up and running full speed with Bible studies, Character Development classes, GED tutoring, and mentoring sessions happening every week. So ministry is GREAT. How is it all going to get funded? We’re simply trusting God for that.
