In my almost ten years at LifeQuest this may be the most exciting newsletter I’ve ever sent to you! One of the students from our first 4:13 Journey class is going into ministry. And you have a chance to bless her! But I’ll allow her to tell you her journey in her own words. I’m pleased to introduce you to my friend, Haeleah.
I want to bring you up to date on what’s been happening in my life. In April of 2021, I became part of the first 4:13 Journey class sponsored by LifeQuest. During my participation and journey in this program, I learned about God’s love for me, gained some great friendships, and overcame many fears. This class truly was a blessing in my life. Then, in July 2022 I had the great pleasure of being a part of the 4:14 Continuing Journey also sponsored by LifeQuest. Through the continuing journey, I have grown closer to God and a few wonderful peers. This class has helped prepare me for my life to come and God’s incredible plans. LifeQuest has had such a huge impact on my life. I am so grateful for their staff, supporters, and programs; with them, my life has been forever changed for the better. Lately, I have been putting in the time and effort to be able to graduate this May of 2023. I have been going through a mending process to heal my past wounds, face my fears and learn how to truly live in God, his love, forgiveness, and purpose. I am ready to start a new chapter of my life and see where God takes me. As a result of everything God has done in my life, I want to continue to grow in my faith and learn how to tell others about the hope only found in the Gospel. That is the reason I have decided to spend the next school year with a ministry called Momentous.
Momentous is a ministry that takes a comprehensive approach to faith and the workforce. Momentous allows for employment exposure while providing a Biblically-based gap year experience. Along with designated time to excel at many fields of work, I will have ample opportunities to experience the gospel and grow in my faith through Christ-centered discipleship, transformational community, and outdoor experiential ministry. In order to make this possible, I need to develop a team of ministry partners. I would like to invite you to prayerfully consider being a part of my prayer and financial support team for this amazing opportunity to pursue employment and grow in my faith. I need to raise a total of $13,000 by August 1, 2023, which will cover all of my expenses for this program.
