Meet Our Staff
Our staff are the heart and soul of LifeQuest.
John Jones, President
John was born and raised in Indiana many many years ago. He is an avid reader and loves sports. John moved from Illinois to New Mexico in March of 2013 after serving in ministry leadership for over 20 years. His greatest joy is spending time with his three children and his four grandchildren. John’s love for LifeQuest comes as a direct result of seeing his own life changed in 1994 by a relationship with a diligent mentor and a loving God.
Esther Taylor, Events and Programming
Esther is an Albuquerque native. She loves spending time with her husband and two children reading books and going on adventures! Esther has worked with youth and children since 2001 and began her career in office administration in 2003.
Joshua De La Rosa – Program Manager
Southern NM
Josh has rejoined LifeQuest Las Cruces to continue the mission of reaching NM’s youth for a brighter future.
Josh, his wife and their 4 children love doing things in the community and enjoy fining new ways to serve Las Cruces.
Cleo Gibson – Program Manager, Albuquerque
Cleo Joined LifeQUest as our Northern NM Program Manager overseeing the programming for the female clients in Nov of 2019. Cleo passion and tenderness for the clients she works with shows through everything she does. She is a blessing to have on staff.
Angelo Alvarez – Facility Coordinator
Southern NM
Angelo joined LifeQuest is 2023 as Program support staff to assist Josh in Las Cruces.
Ryan Chance Butts – 4:13 Journey Program Manager, Albuquerque
Chance is joining LifeQuest in April 2024 as our 4:13 Journey Program Manager.
Chance and his family have been involved with LifeQuest since 2020 and their passion for NM youth is evident in their commitment to the ministry.
