Chris Youngblood, P.E., has been with Chavez-Grieves since 1993 and has served in his current role as President/CEO and Managing Partner since 2002. While spending most of his time directing the day-today operations of Chavez-Grieves, Chris also travels across the U.S. marketing the firm’s services, building client relationships, and overseeing projects. He takes specific pride in focusing on building long-lasting relationships with clients and focusing on what it takes to make our clients’ projects successful.


A native of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, Chris received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from New Mexico State University. He started his education at the University of Maryland, European Division, while he was serving in the United States Army. During his time in the military, Chris served in the 1st Infantry Division, completing tours in Belgium, Holland, Germany, and Morocco.
